Enable dark mode in Messenger by sending an emoji

At its designer meeting a year ago, Facebook guaranteed that it would convey dull mode to Messenger; it would seem that the organization's revealing the element finally. Notwithstanding, As Android Police originally noted, rather than empowering it through the settings menu, you'll need to depend on an easter egg to switch on dull mode – both on Android and iOS – and it includes sending an emoticon.

This is what you'll have to do.
  • Open the Facebook Messenger application on your telephone.

  • Send a moon/sickle 🌙 emoticon to anybody.

  • Tap on the emoticon more than once, until you see the movement caught in the screen capture underneath.

  • When you do that, you'll get a message showing that you've opened the component, and you can empower dull mode by tapping Turn On In Settings.

  • On the other hand, you can tap on your profile picture, and turn on the dull mode switch from the settings page.
